Community Memorial Hospital offers a Nutrition Education Program which can provide you with information and skills to follow many different diets.
Managing a disease can be stressful especially when it involves changing your lifestyle and diet. A registered dietician will work with you one on one to help you learn strategies to cope with your new diet. Topics for diet modification will include portion control, allowed foods, dining out skills and recipe modifications.
The following are common types of diets:
• Weight loss
• Cholesterol and fat restricted
• Sodium restricted
• Others as ordered by the physician
